I bought this camera 2 yrs ago and have been using a 64 mb micro SD card w/o problems. Have been very happy with the clarity of pics using this camera.

Awesome many have said they used different size memory cards with no issues! Some said otherwise might had to do with the brand as well? I upgraded to the brave 7LE and love it.

I have this camera. What you failed to mention is that with the Akaso app you can send a live video feed straight to your phone which I think is pretty cool. Also, after you input the time and date for the time stamp it gets wiped out when you switch batteries and you have to re-enter it every time ! this is the only thing about this camera that really sucks.

Have this camera as well but have hit its limits. No EIS is killing me right now. It's ok for sailing (when I have it on the gimbal) but really bad on the mountain bike or off-roading - too shaky. Post shoot editing is a very limited solution.

I use Akaso V50X and I love that thing. For the price, its fantastic. very worth it. I just ordered the 7LE. I use it day or night on my Honda Goldwing. The quality of the video and EIS is remarkable for the price. I will refuse to spend so much on any of the big names out there.

I just bought one of those as well and I'm excited to use it. I did view comments on people who have it, some hate it, some love it. I'm not a professional vlogger and it's just for my personal use and I just figured it would be good to use on trips other than my expensive DSLR camera which is big and bulky to carry, especially on a 2 week trip.

Yes it depends on what you’re using it for that should be just fine. If you’re not pleased I suggest the nicer version amzn.to/3TzIi8Y they make a few different models some nicer than others the stabilization is better in the model I just linked.

To be honest I bought a few years ago Nilox action cam. They also said max 32gb micro SD, but it works fine even with 128GB, so it's more then worth to try.

I thought it might overwrite what’s on the SD card once full. So you can keep filming but risk losing other footage.

There’s a site called cloud convert and other free sites online to upload and convert on. But you can directly upload files from to akaso to your phone via the akaso app when both devices are on the same WiFi network.

The thing I hate is that it can't be mounted to a bike with the protective case. Must even use a zip tie with the bike accessory to keep the camera in place. Also, I find the android app quite limited. Downloading videos from cam to phone takes forever and I do not seem to be able to access the cam settings from the phone app. My firmware also looks different so I might need an update. Just got that cam, still experimenting. Thanks for the review.

Check out my accessories link! I have a mount for bike you can use with the case and it came with a bunch of mounts. Maybe try updating? But yes the app can take long to download footage depending on quality and length.

For the price it’s nifty but won’t give you professional high end quality. Great for a secondary camera that you won’t be scared to damage or lose as opposed to a higher end camera. I use this camera to record my hikes with my savannah cats. It is really good, but it is hard to find the settings. I got frustrated with the screen going off, but went to settings and fixed that. I have yet to see on any of the reviews that if you have 4K videos you can not download these directly from the camera to the phone or the computer. You have to remove the SD card and use a reader to down load them So, I thought i would pass that along so maybe it will save someone time.

I have not, in all honesty the quality isn't there if you're trying to live stream a phone would be better. This is a great cheap alternative to a water proof action camera or a back up camera.

The stabilization isn’t great but there is a pro version of this. For the price point I’m astounded. A newer GoPro would surpass it for sure but with a much higher price tag.

I have two batteries that I switch out haven’t noticed a difference in battery life differing due to the quality but there are some features like sleep mode to help conserve energy.
