Hey Redskull. This is a great review. You went through a lot of detail. I wish I would have seen this before I got this camera. The picture quality is not bad, but the audio sucks. I have to be right beside the camera in order to be heard. Do you know of an external mic that fits this type of camera? Thanks for sharing.

Does anyone know how to use this as a dash cam .... Other action cams have a car mode /driving mode that knocks off when the ignition is off and turns on automatically recording when the car is started ....but I don't see an option for this in the menu ? Can anyone help ?

I didn't hear anything about transferring images or video to another device, is there a need to remove the Micro SD card? How is playback done?

I always move the video from the camera to the computer by removing the sd card and copying the video files. It can also be done through the accompanying app but the process is very slow and it fails multiple times

There are samples with the stabilization in the video. In this price range you won’t really find anything with good video stabilization

I bought an Apeman, not sure which model, but it lasted four years, so looking at this as a replacement. The Apeman started sweating and became useless. Obviously moisture got in, I tried the moisture absorber but that didn’t work. This is on offer in the UK at the moment.

the thing is...if you turn off the EIS every little movement will make the footage look pretty bad. If you have a gimbal than the EIS should be off
