Hi Sir, First of all your videos are very good and carry a lot of detail in them. I have been following your videos in search of an action camera. I have been thinking of buying an action camera but it's so confusing with so many products out there. My budget is around 60£ and I want good video and still image quality. Also, support for external microphone is required. I have been browsing Amazon's UK website for a couple of weeks now but still can't decide. It would be great if you could suggest me any. Thanks.

Is the video quality actually any better than the standard V50 or the V50 Pro? They all pretty much look the same from what I can tell therefore if I don´t care about the 60fps and extra features should I just go for the V50? Its half the price.

Hey, great video does the mini hdmi allow for live monitoring, or only playback of already recorded videos? I'm on a mac so getting enough converters is expensive and the manual doesn't make it clear.

I have this camera! What is the sound quality settings? I would love to know. I can only find out that the sound is muted when it's in its cage. I will probably set my camera to 1080p, 60 FPS, and shoot for 44-48K stereo sound. That's the limit of my PC.

they couldve made the akaso v50 pro with 4k 60 with much wider fov. akaso superwide angle was not as wide as go pro hero5. big difference on FOV. great review

Could you compare the AKASO cameras and THIEYE cameras for their video output, image output, specs & hardware. Well I found their models match close enough with each other in looks & even their charging adapters & batteries are close match. What differs in their hardware is what I wanna know as AKASO does not clearly mention their hardware to some extent.

Very good videos Redskull. Ihad the V50 X and it was an excellent camera until I scratched the lens after a year and a half. This time I will probably keep it in the water proof case. This camera looks just as good.

Hey Alex, I'm looking for a well-rounded action camera that is great for underwater photography. As long as the camera can take great day time / underwater photos or videos, great night photography or 4k 60FPS Image stabilization are not a must for me. I'm willing to spend up to $200, but I might spend a little bit more if its really worth it. That being said, Which action camera do you recommend? I am considering ThiEye's T5 Edge. I heard good things about it, and its "Aqua Mode" is just what I need. Thanks for all the hard work you put into your reviews!

Nice video. I own quite a few of the AKASO cameras. I find them suitable for the type of work I do. The cameras that have the remote feature have worked very well . What bothers me with the AKASO is the WiFi . Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. It’s a bit frustrating. I believe the AKASO cameras to have the features I need the most , well made, offers a customer service which is helpful and stands way above other manufacturers. The main attraction of the camera is the price. Thanks for the review. It was very informative.

tQ Sir for the review .. I am not into 4k recording video yet .. more amateur slomo. I presume the 1080p/120fps would be good for slomo? Since I am here already, early in the video, ur kind Sir mentioned about if wanting to use 4k/60fps, better with gimbal as it does NOT have EIS@4k60fps BUT ur sample footages were mostly 4k/30fps#EIS_on + gimbal.. anything special with 30fps?

Wondering if the 4k/60fps is decent enough for that. It's day time so no night issues an camera wont be moving much. I'll use a better option on a gimbal to film mid field. Thoughts?

All action camera gimbals work with it. However you cannot connect any to it… so you won’t be able to use the record button on the gimbal

Sunt curios daca bateriile sunt compatibile sau daca softul cu care te conectezi la camera merge de la o camera la alta. Eu am cumpărat o camera Thieye T5 Edge, este bunicica pentru așteptările mele dar totuși se poate mai mult. Deocamdată mă uit cam în aceeași bani la Firefly 8SE. Ce zici se merita? In rest numai de bine. Tine-o tot așa!

That's why. It seems that it makes some type of fake non existent frames for 4K@60. If you record in 4K30fps it should work

As of its release, no. But there was talk about them dropping a firmware update allowing the use of external microphones. Exactly how they did it with the Pro model.
