Got mine a few weeks ago and love it,4k plus a touch screen and you can fit an external mic plus you get every extra you need ie loads of external extras so you can stick it on your car ,your head and use it underwater with the enclosed case. no one comes near for the price and quality.

I have the GoPro hero 7white it was awesome when I first got it but after a few software updates they took away some of the features like zooming on videos I think it's bs for them to make the older models worthless so you have to upgrade.

I like the Akaso V50 resolution. I like that I don’t need a Bluetooth connection to recover from an Akaso V50 crash. I dislike that I have to dismiss and reload the executable to recover from yet another Akaso V50 crash. I dislike the number of V50 crashes per day. I dislike “auto spoof” that after a V50 crash, continuously shows you the last good frame. I dislike the lack of “Upside down” correction. Had I known about *any* of these last four serious flaws, I wouldn’t have bought the V50.

Mine from Amazon is a dud, can't record any video, freeze's after about 1 minute of video. Have to take battery out just get camera to respond. Re-flashed firmware, still same issues. Support is very slow on replacement camera, support staff appears to be China as email responses are 12 hours later. Shouldn't have to deal with this and just send it back to Amazon.

Just got one for $75. Cant wait to check it out *edit - update: tested it out for the first time on the golf course last week. Very satisfied with its ability to maintain clear focus during heavy movement/shaking (I had it attached to the cart while driving around bumpy fairways and rough)

Get the Vtin 4k from Ebay for $20 right now (down 70%). It's got great quality and x5 optical zoom as well as digital zoom. It's got a gyro that works real well and an antishake that's shit. Why? Secret. It's back the front. Turn the antishake off and it works a treat... stable as guys.

Just picked up the "negro" héroe9 bundle from the "other" company on their website. Extra battery, selfie stick, mounts, 1yr subscription and more for $350. More than 2x as much as AKASO V50, but I believe worth it. Question is which will you more likely use? If you don't like certain things about a camera, say microphone, lens flare, possible unpleasant interface, than you may not bother to use it (remember you still have to spend time editing and who want to edit footage you are not happy with?) and you've just add a $160 item to fill a drawer. I know I've done this in the past, no more.

Is it limited record in fat 32? I ask because I’d like to have a camera, that can record say a 2 hour session in one large file. I’ve had action cameras that record the two hour video in 8 separate files, though there are programs you can use to combine all the clips, annoying when you have several sessions that now you have to dedicate hours in combining them.

Depends on what video resolution you are recording at, but when I was using it on 4K @ 30 and 1080 @ 60 I got around 3-4 hours on a charge

I think this camera will not win hero 7 Black! Like DJI action. That DJI action was put on speedboat (F2) engine cover and was dam jello and after I think was mounted hero 6 black and was way better. I use my hero 7 Black on OSY 400 speedboat and it is so fuc..ng good!

Rattle in the cam!! results in Camera shake. Optical zooms have no place in an action cam. That's the problem with some earlier go-pros. I can get a Vtin for twenty bucks that's as good as that. You don't need 4K for an action cam either.

This camera is TERRIBLE! Akaso is sending reviewers cameras with different sensors inside from what sells to the public. Camera wifi doesnt work, 720p(ish) quality and grainy. This was frustrating to watch. Immediately after unboxing, instead of showing a close up of the camera itself, you awkwardly used it as a pointer and kept waving it around. The rest of the footage was pointed way to low throughout the rest of the film. Not a good review, I will avoid your channel if I remember your npc face.
