I think tied laces always look better, it’s just a matter of getting them to the right length. Most laces from the factory are too long in my opinion. I hate when the laces flops when I’m waking lol. Obviously you should wear your shoes how you want but that’s my take

Yup! This is how I always laced my Up’s and J’s except at the base of cross twice to still go horizontally across (with original laces, I wouldn’t try it with wax laces) to get that “bar” across the bottom OR use the lace plate they give u and push each end thru so it goes straight across like the laces normally would do. Another 2 tricks I see people DONT know, but call themselves “sneaker heads” is AF1’s run big. I ALWAYS rock 9.5’s but I’m naturally a 10. U gotta get used to it but the leather always stretches n no crease OR just wear a lingerie pair of socks, leave about 2-2.5 inches of the toe of the sock loose, tuck that under your toes and that gives a tighter fit, no creases. IF you do end up w creases, put a damp towel over the toe and iron it w the setting as low as possible. Keep itonitil the creases are gone. Boom. You’re very welcome. That’s he first time I shared that publicly…..I used to sit back n just watch the heels flop on n off 😂 while people walk or let y’all just poo putt around with the toes of the shoe lookin like a messy bed sheet! 😂 I’m too grown to care anymore if people knew the secrets or not. So…enjoy.

This guy must of grew up in the 80s.all his styles of lacing is what we use to do.but there are many more.his vids are dope thou.i love the darth vader breathing and sanding with sand paper effects.lol.its all good.but i usually only have 2 ways of lacing kicks.i always go on top never inside.but the kicks with loops and round laces i lace them like a basketball net.its pretty easy just go in on top of the loop everytime.

This one guy in high school absolutely hated my guts, but apparently he hated the way I laced my shoes up even more because he asked me if he could lace them up for me and he laced them up in such a way that the laces didn't cross one another on the tongue, instead they were all in a straight line going across the tongue all parallel to one another and it looked awesome. He even taught me how to do it so I could make my shoes look a lil better

I quit caring about my shoes when I was 14. I had a growth spurt and went from size 14 to size 16 and found it impossible to find good looking shoes. There was a time when all I could find were black Velcro new balance in my size which were greatin high school. With my first job I went out and bought some Jordans and wore them every day till they fell apart. Would probably be worth something now. Now all I wear Columbia boots because they make my size and they are comfortable.
