In year 1977in dover lane conference I heard this raga sung by bidushi Purabi Mukipadhay a deciple of Ustd. Amir Khan.

There is no doubt that khansaab Ustad Akbar Ali Khan is one and only in Pakistan & India.. he is same as in singing n nature also..!!

Although he is a good singer , no doubt but there are at least 4 , 5 singers better than him in India and Pakistan. Actually we should not compare good artists . Every artist has few plus , few minus points. Let us enjoy , all of them .

Although jhari khan is a good tabla player but not great as ustad zahir hussain saheb. I think ustad zakir hussain ji is the best in world of tabla playing. Yes I consider taki khan , at par with zakir sahab.

Sir chandra prabha is not south indian rag But equal to rag priyadarshini in south indian music it is from 21th mela kartha rag keeranavani .. Pls clear Anyway he is great singer amusing thayyri
