Love the commentary throughout this search. It really provides a lot of context to what you were experiencing during the search. Great work with you and you dog, even with all the distractions. Your repetitions have truly payed off. Good stuff 😊

We just started nose work this year, my dog is pretty natural at it and very enthusiastic like yours. Love watching this more complex search Ans hearing your narrative. Thank you

So she was actually done when she went to the gopher hole? Funny how they know when the job is over.

Great search! Your dog has so much drive for unfound odor and great confidence. A judge once told me, "Your dog is trying to get out of the search area." because we found all the hides (excellent interior run). Is it possible your dog wasn't in odor and just wanted to leave the search area to find more odor?

Yes, I think that is exactly what was happening. If she runs out of hides to find, she just makes a larger search area!

I have rural farm dogs, they are always on scents like coyote, mink, raccoons..any critter that isn't supposed to be on our property. So,these scents used would have to be single training scent..or my dogs would drag me through that whole hill side tracking the true predators. Lol! I have worked them with some oils...
