Oyam district Woman member of Parliament was today arrested in Dokolo on allegation of voter bribery.
Santa Alum and two others belonging to the UPC were arrested and delivered to Dokolo CPS for statement recording. Election for Dokolo district woman MP has been a very peaceful one except a few incidences which were witnesses in the evening.

Yesterday evening some members of the FDC party were also arrested by unknown people in the evening. Deputy treasurer general Moses Attan says his colleagues were later released but money meant for the agents were taken.

A car belonging to an independent candidate in the race was also arrested in Kangi. Its allege that the car with covered number plates had pangas inside.
In Amwoma sub county Locals also raided the Police outpost where allegations of pre-ticked ballot papers were being kept in a police truck. Calm was restored after a search.
