I'm from the Philippines. I just quit my job in National capital Region-Bonifacio Global City where the pay is the highest in my country and relocated back to my hometown Pamplona in Negros Island and got a job in Dumaguete City atleast I can farm and work in the city at the same time. I am so inspired by your videos and other rural content creator. I just feel at peace in the mountains than in the city. Walking and living in the crowded city is not my cup of tea.

Great video! I farm for a living and I always feel so spoiled having food that I grow. I dont buy tomatoes or melons or corn in the off season because it is such a big difference in taste and texture than the store. So many people dont know what these veggies are actually supposed to taste like they when are grown and picked fresh and for flavor!

Beautiful live, living in Uganda. I am from Holland. I met my husband on Holland. But he is from west-africa, Liberia. We have 2 girls and one boy. Looking at your video, i see it benefits raising kids in a community as in your village. I love the story's my husband tells me about his childhood in Liberia. Unfortunately he had to leave his country, due to the civil war in the '90. We live a good live in Holland and we are thankful. ❤ from our end of the world. Keep on trowing this beautiful video's into the world.

Your channel is one of my favorites. You are an amazing human being and I not only appreciate your videos- I’m inspired by them to simplify. I have lived off-grid in the woods alone with no running water, electricity or plumbing. I collected my water from a spring less than a mile down the road. I cooked outside, bathed outside when weather permitted and I had my loo outside as well! I live in Central New York State US and the temperature gets down to about 10 degrees F in the winter. I loved it all.

Thank you, Aketch. Your village reminds me of my childhood at my Grandparents home in Stamps, Arkansas USA. The red dirt roads, wood burning stoves, gardens and pure life. I could almost smell the Juniper trees. I love you dress and the children. I, too, was a school teacher. Take care! Be blessed until next time.

When I was in my mid 20s, there was an island wide strike of govt. workers and water, electricity, bus and train services, police, fire and other govt. employees decided to hang tough for better wages. I lived in the countryside (recently moved from the city...I loved the countryside) and was told and taught by a village woman where and how to carry water to my home. I had to carry water on my head from a spring in the hills for about a week (morning and evening) down a path from the hill to sea level. Cliff on one side, dirt wall on the other. I was terrified the first couple of times but eventually got into the swing of it and had a blast after that. Met some wonderful ladies at the spring and they were amazed that the 'city girl' could balance water on her head. Good times. Thank you for the reminder. 6:54 The question is: to whom?

If u need to walk for water u could take a small troley with u and u shouldnt carry heavy stuff. I hate to carry even if i need to carry it to the car or from the xar to the home. We have to do the same to carry plastic water from the shop. When i was a kid the tap water was very great. But our leadership dont bothered to renewing the water pipes under the dirt. So they put a lit of hypo to kill the bacterium and hypo is very bqd for human stomack . So everyone must buy water from the shop. In my childwhood we had waterpump in the stret and u can anytime stop and drink fresh water. The autority now lock it i dont know for what a reason propably they have interest that the people buy water from the shops. And they make profit 1.5 liter water here cost half euro or little bit more:S

Not from solar panels. There are many designs and one is a box that has black T-shirt around it and the food is inside the box. There are plenty of videos on KZbin about it. 🤗❤️❤️❤️🫶
