i remember messing around with the 3DS camera a lot. I made a video where i said "what the hell?" backwards and then poured water into a cup and then spilled it out, so when you played the video backwards, the water would look freaky and cool, and then i'd say "what the hell?"

Such a bizarre item - I got a ton of mileage out of mine. My friend and I would make a makeshift gameboy stand, grab some action figures that could stand on their own and do some crude stop motion animations with them. Fun times... *Grabs Gameboy Color & Camera* The Run game - I'd pop the camera into the Super Gameboy, grab my SNES pad that had turbo and let that do all the work. I've beaten the run game once without turbo and talk about hand torture - felt like I was on some sugar rush.

This was a fantastic trip down memory lane, great vid! I 100%'d this "game" back in the day and spent countless weekends with my brothers and friends making funny pictures and hotspot games, sharing them with each other, and printing goofy photos that we'd sticker on all sorts of stuff like school books and game cartridges... ahhhhh, good times, good times. Collecting all of those album pics was such a huge challenge! Truly one of the most enjoyable Game Boy games ever made, and who woulda thought, it'd be a camera.

FYI, the Wii did have a camera. The Wii Remote pointer works by an IR camera seeing the “sensor bar”, which is really just two IR LEDs about 30cm apart. It’s basically the same camera found inside the right Joy-Con.

I remember trying this trick I saw in Nintendo Power, where you'd connect an SNES to a VCR, and then plug the GB Camera into a Super Game Boy and it would be like a make-shift security camera. I suppose nowadays you could do the same thing by connecting your SNES to a capture card.
