Pyoro design is based on the snack icon Kyoro, and has an even more similar homage in Rhythm Heaven. It's like One Punch Man and Anpan Man. Japan heavily uses such refernces, as long as you don't ACTUALLY LITERALLY BREAK THE LAW. USA made Fair Use as an exception so law wouldn't be EQUAL to everybody in USA. So in many cases, while Fair Use is still illegal, US courts can keep the law and only SELECTIVELY uphold it. They can drop the illegalization any time on you because most of the time you get away scot free and people get used to it, instead of writing actual democratic laws. Everytime you blame nintendo taking fangames down it's them self-protecting against actual rogue state action in USA, called selective enforcement. Not knowing which Pyoro is the real Pyoro you're actually being victims of literally the copyright law violation of false advertising. All this inconvenience in branding would be illegal, if it wasn't 100% funded by freemium servers of social media corporations, that benefit ad revenue every time somebody clicks on "pyoro". This too would be illegal by tax-paying business under Unfair Competition laws. But under the same logic that piray is legal funded with pom ads and targeting children, it is legal if you only report your income tax later, not trade tax that sellinga pirated game would generate if you bought a Chinese emulation machine like Anbernic. US voters are sadly hostile to actual laws existing or being upheld. You just write nonsense and make excuses why they should not be prosecutable.

I remember when I was a little kid when i was in a visitor house and a little girl have a Light-Blue DSi and let me borrowed it to play games. And Bird & Beans is how I first discovered Pyoro (and the WarioWare Series). This game was just so addicting and nostalgic for me and was part of my childhood. This is the first DSiWare game that I played the most. I didn't get really far as a kid though, but when I got my 2DS and actually got better when I'm older, I wanted to attempt myself and reach 100,000 in Pyoro 2 as a challenge for me and I was pretty determined to do it. So I kept playing and practicing to improve my technique, and after LOTS and LOTS of failed attempts and trial-and-errors, on June 6, 2022, I finally did it! I actually finally surpassed 100,000 in Pyoro 2! It just felt so satisfying and accomplished that I've finally reached 100,000 in Pyoro 2 for the first time.

My history with Pyoro is maybe one of the strangest possible. Like you suggested in the video, I was in fact introduced to the character through Bird & Beans on DSiWare. Which is funny, because... I had already played multiple WarioWare games prior to that. Just, as a kid, apparently I never did any of the things necessary to unlock his various games, ever. And I missed out on the very first WarioWare on GBA (though I did play the Gamecube version of it?!), so I missed out on his singular (at the time) front-and-center appearance. But I absolutely adored Bird & Beans. It's to this day probably still my favorite arcade-y score attack sort of game. I believe that it *somehow* wasn't until the 2017 Nintendo World Championships had Bird & Beans featured in it that one of my close friends finally made me aware that Bird & Beans was actually called Pyoro, and originated from WarioWare. I was one of the probably five people hyped as hell to see that specific iteration of one of my favorite games being played there, however! And you can imagine my absolute delight when I played Get It Together and discovered that he was a playable character. They were so based for that.

To me it seems that Pyoro unintentionally parallels the Donkey Kong series and that's fun to me considering the alternate universe element of WarioWare: Pyoro 1 and Donkey Kong: It's a platformer where you use a unique for the time control scheme to reach the top of the screen. Pyoro 2 and Donkey Kong JR: Similar to the first but with a new playable character and one new mechanic. Pyoro R and Donkey Kong 3: Pyoro stays in the middle of the screen and you protect 4 flowers from bugs. Pyoro S and Donkey Kong Country: The screen scrolls now and you can have a smaller bird following you. Bird and Beans and Donkey Kong Land: Ports of older titles to a weaker handheld system. Bird and Donkey Kong 64: uuuuh there's a lot going on in the collectibles and background. Also the original game is there in some capacity Super Pyoro and Donkey Kong 94': Appears to be just the original but is actually hiding a lot more from you if you look for it. Get It Together and Smash Bros. 64: They're playable alongside several other familiar faces but doing something completely different than usual. Pyoro W and the Bonga Era: If you told me this game was playable with the DK Bongos i would believe you

Pyoro on the ti-84 has a pyoro 1,2, and 3 where the third has pyoro jump and throw a ball in a parabolic shape (shown in the video briefly) where you get points in a different way where the first hit is 10 points and the last ones are 1000 with the same ball. This may have been reference to the green pyoro. This is also notably one of the most popular ti-84 games on app site.

Afaik in the intro of WarioWare Gold, Super Pyoro is being sold and that is what made Wario make microgames in that game. So Gold also features the "play the game that started the whole story of this game" like the first WarioWare did. And in the intro of Get it Together, Super Pyoro is seen in a Switch-like case, so I guess Super Pyoro received a Switch port. I don't know how they could have adapted the two screens stuff, but the incredible thing is that the game was released twice and both times it was a success.

I haven't played that many WarioWares and my experiences with Pyoro come down to GiT and KZbin footage of G&W, maybe plus whatever written information Super Mario Wiki had on him 8 years ago. I thought Pyoro's MO was pretty straightforward over the years, until today! Turns out he's always a total cartoon character, but in differing ways across games. Like in his debut he hits the Yoshi on 'em, but in the next he's like Pokio 12 years before MariOdyssey, but also moonlighting as Dig Dug? It gives the crazy early era of a retro franchise that hasn't figured out what its "normal" is yet. And seeing _Pyoro W_ gives me confidence that the bird is still down to experiment! As mentioned, I have met him in _Get it Together,_ but his playability was spoiled before I got the game because of course it was. This kind of surprise-ruining is exactly why I admired @Pyoro_X's subtler style! Still, his involvement in the story is so interesting, right? Like, you're telling me this canonically-fictional scrimblo can not only abduct people into a virtual world like some kind of cyber-demon, but transmogrify into a boss-battle-ready monster to match? And he did it all... in the name of wholesome fun? Insane. It's like if they put the mind of Kirby into the body of a Kirby game's final boss, and then sent him off to go "play" in the Super Mario universe or something. As for Game & Wario: I already loved the dual-artstyle style of _Bird,_ but now that I've seen its ancestors, it's five times cooler now! I can't flippin' believe the Wii U installment was simultaneously a remake and demake of an old classic! Also, I find it interesting you compared the _original game's_ splash art to old Western boxart, as (if my memory serves) the devs in an interview cited Western boxart as their inspiration for the title screens of _Bird_ and the rest of Game&W's minigames.

Pyoro for smash: Neutral B: pyoro's tongue extends at the classic 45 degree angle. Moves somewhat slowly but can pull opponents towards Pyoro on hit. Acts as a command-grab, can be cancelled, and puts opponents into a grab-release animation upon ending (by completing or being cancelled). Deals slight damage on hit. Side B: pyoro rolls forward a short distance, dealing moderate speed-based damage and knockback. You can repeatedly press b while in this state to keep rolling and build momentum Up B: Pyoro extends his tongue again, this time it deals even less damage and doesn't grab opponents, but goes farther, faster and pulls pyoro towards whatever the tongue hits. Pyoro is invulnerable for almost a second after the tongue connects. Jumping out of this move conserves momentum Down B: A bean spawns in front of Pyoro (just low enough that you can't immediately eat it). The bean falls slowly and deals a small amount of damage when hitting opponents, enough to usually cause a flinch. If the bean hits a floor, a beanstalk will start to grow from that spot, which characters can climb and which has a bean on top. You can have a maximum of two beanstalks on screen at the same time. If you spawn another bean while there are two stalks, the oldest one will whither. If Pyoro eats a bean with one of his tongue or beak moves, he will heal a small amount and grow a tiny bit larger, scaling his hit and hurt boxes, gravity, and the damage of his moves slightly, except for his side B which grows significantly. Pyoro can grow from a bean up to 6 times before reaching the maximum, and his size will reset after a death Jab: A 3-hit jab where Pyoro extends his beak in front of him, not very far the first time (by Pyoro standards. It still reaches quite far for a jab 1.) but with increasing distance and damage every hit Forward Tilt: Pyoro extends his tongue. Moves pretty fast and does moderate damage with low base knockback and high knockback scaling Up Tilt: Pyoro swings his extended beak in front of him in an arc. Moderate damage and high base knockback with low scaling Down Tilt: Pyoro pokes at the ground with his beak. Low damage and knockback but a chance to trip Forward Smash: Even faster and stronger version of Forward tilt Up Smash: Pyoro pokes straight up with his beak. Very strong sweetspot on the tip of the beak Down Smash: Pyoro's tail gets pulled back and released, snapping into him and making him extend his tongue forward a ways. There's a hitbox on the tongue and on his tail feathers when they connect with his butt Neutral Air: Pyoro quickly grows and shrinks, with flowers and sparkles bursting out of him a-la the invincible upgrade in Pyoro S and the Super Pyoro form. There are hitboxes on the flowers and sparkles as well as Pyoro himself, and he is invincible briefly during the move Forward Air: Pyoro Pokes his beak forward. Mild damage and knockback Back Air: Pyoro's tail gets pulled in the opposite direction, snapping back and causing him to shoot his beak out. High damage and knockback scaling Up Air: Pyoro's tail gets pulled downwards, causing him to shoot his beak upwards. Slightly less damage and knockback than back air Down Air: Pyoro CHOMPS below him. Strong spiking hitbox. Bonus: his jump is not technically a jump, but him flying a little bit. He has two double jumps Pyoro is a somewhat slow character who can struggle in disadvantage or in close-quarters, but he has good damage output, good kill power and some good kill-confirms, though his flashiest moves will mostly rely on reading the opponent. His mobility is on the lower end in terms of raw stats, but can nevertheless be quite versatile with his neutral and up-b, his multiple jumps, and his beanstalks. His ability to grow by eating beans does make his poor disadvantage even worse, but also makes his damage output and kill potential even stronger if he has time to set up. Pyoro's long range gives him the tools he needs to succeed in neutral, as well as making him quite potent at edge guarding and ledge trapping.
