MRL lifts are harder to service. I personally would hate to have to rappel down a hoistway just to fix something.

If it was up to me I will ban this idea. Unless you put the motor on top the shaft in a separate room on concrete flooring like the traditional ones. Maybe like that would be safer than in shaft
