I like Jamie and Kimberly and i think that characters like JP, Marisa, Manon and now AKI have really stolen the show and have the potential of becoming main staples of the series. Lily might be the weakest link.

Random vid to leave this on but I think that SF6 is gonna announce another story mode after this year of DLC. Almost every character’s story is just a set up for something in the future and all the DLC have been connected. They all point to some kind of Shadaloo revival coming soon so 1, I’m excited for what comes next and 2, I’m quite scared of what part Akuma will play in all this.

Meanwhile... I'm still hoping to see Rival Schools characters in SF6. So far, they are nowhere to be seen, not even cameo appearances. It's like they've vanished. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself. The game is far from being finished/completed. Season 1 DLC is still going, so there's more to come.

@@IbukiClean Sakura, huh? Hmm... This is just my opinion, but if Sakura doesn't show up as a playable character, they could always put Hinata. She's kinda like Sakura, has similiar moves and supers. Also, Hinata hasn't had her time to shine. Kyosuke was in CvS2, Batsu was in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. I feel like she deserves her moment. SF6 seems like a perfect opportunity for that. But like I said, that's just my opinion.

aki absolutely can and will bait and whiff punish the fuck outta people w her hitboxes having just a slight phatom reach and her movement animations have tight hitboxes too so shes really good for messing w people and fishing openings out and if you fuckup vs her it hurts bad just insanely bad its not as busted as a juri lvl 2 rushdown if u fuckup but she can absolutely do nasty work it sucks they sorta missed the mark w rasheed a bit because he seemed awesome then a week later its like eh no this aint it chief and people realized his big flaws aki however feels really complete and well put together she has good moves to get in on someone good zoning and solid hitboxes that dont feel cheap even if they look it sometimes when you are on the receiving end and the poison is a great way to mess w people in some situations just a solid character

HOT TAKE INCOMING: AKIs offense is so completely abysmal that the most she can do is poke down opponents...anyone plat or higher is not going to just get hit by standing heavy kick so you do a full combo...standing medium kick is a pitiful button needing approximately 10 years of start up...AKI has no real block strings, no real plus frames and her bnb combo is dependent on landing 1 of 2 normals in her entire kit that is cancelable. Once the hype dies down...everyone will realize AKI is straight dogwater. Even poor max who Excells no matter what character he plays is having trouble getting in without spending drive meter. When her only really successful string is crouching lights into heavy lash...that should tell you something

Ryu is a good all rounder. Great to start with especially if you haven't played for a while and need to learn the game. Ken is good but has a very aggressive play style. Most Ken players are button mashers. Both are fun to play.
