BEGINNERS GUIDE TO CARTOONING PEOPLE

I appreciate past-Erika going through the effort of creating a video in 2016, but honestly, it could have been done better. So there it is, the updated version of that video, now scripted and edited!
I created my first ART GUIDE! It teaches you How to Draw ANYONE as a Cartoon. Find out more: aki-anyway-shop.fourthwall.com/
In this video I talk about how to cartoonize people and how you can make anyone into a cartoon. I start with the basics, how to recognize the shapes and proportions of the person you want to draw, and then I break the process down step by step.
I show how you can draw simplified eyes, noses, mouths, hair and the whole face shape! This way you'll be able to cartoon yourself, a celebrity, or anyone you want.
At the end of the video there is a time-lapse drawing that shows my process of drawing in my own style, a bit more complex cartoon style.

I would add beauty marks only if they are important to the person’s look. For example I would add it for Marilyn Monroe, but not for Harry

How do i draw lips that don't look too big in comparison eoth the character?

You could draw lips in different ways, for example one way is drawing just a single line to represent the whole mouth. If your lips look too big and you can't draw them smaller, you might need to draw your character's face bigger or use a thinner lead to draw. This way every face element can have the correct proportions
