Nice job Lance! I was very impressed with how precise the mold was for them! The tabs fit the wheels so well! Like you said, everything is so nice and flat. I agree 100%… nothing holds as well as ddm rings and hardware!

Great video, You know of any cheaper compatable rims to the 195x80 Akill spikes? Maybe Rovan from fearless RC etc? I'm getting the metal Beadlock as well so really just need the rims but I understand rims come with the rings I won't use though... I got that 5 kid Budget. Just need something that fits and won't break easy Appreciate link if you got it😉

@@CrucialRC wheels. I already have 195x80 Akill's on the way, need cheaper but durable options for wheels/rims.... I also purchase the Akill aluminum Beadlock with the tires but I understand most rims/wheels I am looking for will include another Beadlock I won't use. So just need wheels that are wide enough for newer 195x80 Appreciate

I run Proline desperado Baja rears and never had a problem.

hey lance, what is the size diameter of the desperado baja wheels can you measure them?

Standard beadlock size 4-3/8"(approx 120mm) diameter.

That is the taller tire similar to losi size. It will fit on the Baja rear but the true baja rear tire is the 180x85. akillracing.com/products/akill-racing-mad-dog-super-spike-tires-set-180-86 The website is a little complicated.

Those tires are amazing but I ordered 2 pairs of tires and a bigflex body. They shipped. The tires and basically stole the body from me saying it was never ordered even though I have a $200 charge for it. DO NOT ORDER FROM AKILL

I tried man. I think I’m basically out $200. Super disappointing because there tires are amazing. But I’m in a group of about 50. And non of them will ever run the tires now. Just bad business
