Your first solo Tenor sax player is an incredible tenor player, and I've listened to Jazz since I was in a Coma. at the age of 4 in Iran (for one month), and my aunt. the President of the hospital ordered the nurses to play her own very extensive collection of Jazz LPs, and yes I heard it all in coma. and now I have Gray hair, and addicted to Jazz!! And I've heard so many great saxophone players so close that I could spit at them😃such as Jimmy Heath, John Coltrane, Pharaoh Sanders, Joe Henderson, Dexter Gordon, and many more, and mostly but not all at Mt. Hood Jazz festival at my own college (Mt. Hood Community College)!! Oh Wilton Felder, offered me a Selmer Alto as a gift (when I told him that I couldn't afford a saxophone), but I said no!!! I'm now a multi international-award-winning scientist, and inventor, and now a science and outdoor writer, and still don't have enough money to buy a Yamaha sax🤣😂!!! Thank you so very much, as I've played and replayed your version of Black Orpheus probably 50 times!!!!!

Wow. Maybe I am the only one to recognize it but that is one of the most thoroughly satisfying tenor solos on this tune ever. Huge sound, clean articulation, altissimo in all the right places, strong and clear, melodic, really nice. I have not heard enough of Bobby Martinez (and I am in South Florida) but I want to hear more. Nice job all round, especially drums and piano.

I've always loved this tune and this is a great arrangement. Not familiar with this band, but as a long time teacher and player, I'm impressed! The set drummer is great and works really well with the conga player. Excellent band.
