Very nice. Im curious. As for the lights, are you guys planning on honoring older tech, using older bulbs, or making this thing modern and using led/hid/etc.
@matus19765 жыл бұрын
definitely going to go with modern LED and HID lights

:/ damn I was hoping it would be electric since that's the future, but still want to see where it goes though, keep up the good work.

@@matus1976 thanks Bro, And Why are You Making That Bike?
@raijin77073 жыл бұрын
@@matus1976 fam I'd fucking take that offer under a few conditions, make sure the wheels are larger like in the anime and conforms to US regulations so it's road legal. Meet those conditions I'll bust my ass day and night to make enough money to buy one of these bikes XD

what is the cool wheel covers called and are there any real life mototcycles with these cover
@matus19764 жыл бұрын
I don't think they have a name. I'd be really surprised if some custom builder out there hasn't built something like them, but I've never seen them on a real motorcycle.

Actually with today’s tech this might work better using front and rear electric hub motors and Lithium Ion batteries. Either that or a 232 GY6 stretch motor.
@froztbytes4 жыл бұрын
You know Hub motors are a thing now right?
@matus19764 жыл бұрын
indeed I do - doesn't mean they are perfect for my build though. Electric motors are great with their high torque at low RPM, very wide RPM range, etc. But electric batteries suck (lithium ion batteries hold 100 Wh/kg - gasoline is about 13,000 wh/kg) Hub based motors also significantly increase the unsprung weight - which you generally want to keep as low as possible.

When is the next update?
@matus19764 жыл бұрын
Well, the pandemic has slowed things quite a bit, and editing is way more work than I anticipated, but I'm aiming for something this month!

Will it have reverse gear as well?
@matus19766 жыл бұрын
Yes it will, a small electric motor in the hub of the rear wheel will handle reverse
