Akira Toriyama Tribute Mural in Peru (660 m2)

Today, in Peru, a huge mural in tribute to Akira Toriyama was unveiled, created by more than 45 artists.
110 meters long, 6 meters high, representing 70 characters from "Dragon Ball" saga.
Location :
Cuadra 9 de Paseo de la Republica, La Victoria, Lima (Station "Estadio Nacional del Metropolitano").
"Peko", an urban graffiti artist from the district of La Victoria, and member of the artistic collective NFS Crew, invited various artists from all over Lima to pay tribute to the work of Akira Toriyama.

This legit brought a tear to my eye, as a 90s baby who basically grew up in the 2000s watching Dragon Ball Z, to hear of Toriyamas passing and only at age 68, was very tragic. But i think its also sort of proof that we really are getting older. A lot of our favorite actors, musicians, celebrities, artists etc who we grew up listening too and watching are all getting up there in age. I think it would be a smart idea to just take a break from the hustle of bustle of our busy lives and just spend time with loved ones, cherish the moments we have together because we all have a clock inside, and that clock wont last forever

I hope that the local government works to preserve this MASTERPIECE and ensure that if anyone dares to purposely screw it up with their amateur art, it can easily be erased and the culprit is forced to sit through a 24 hour marathon of DBZ to realise their mistake in putting their amateur art on top something that is meant to be a tribute to a great artist and story teller as he helped inspire other generations of artists and story tellers!!
