"Shyavige ottu" (shyavige maker) can be placed on the top of table and shyavige can be prepared effortlessly. It is completely produced from stainless steel material and arrangement of it's spare parts are very easy. As it is made from stainless steel material, it won't affect from rust in the course of time. Not only rice shyavige, but also other snacks such as chakkuli, kharakaddi can also be made by using this machine.
This video is all about preparation of perfect tasty and non-sticky rice shyavige. It is a south indian traditional breakfast recipe. The ingredient mainly required is rice. I have used Ananda brand boiled rice. It is best suitable for shyavige. Follow all the tips stated in the video to prepare perfect shyavige. Coconut milk is best combination for it. Also you can use cow milk with sugar, any sambar or tovve, menasukayi with it.

Illa sir. Madodu thumba sulabha. Sana Kutumbaka 8 - 10 shavige ottuvudadre Radha mukkalungante saaku. I give a brief method below. Ready made rice flour + boiling water + little salt + 1tsp oil. Mix well. When you can handle it knead it a little. Cover. Take chakkuli press. I use the steel pressing type. Put the mould with small holes. Smear oil inside. Keep the idli stand read with the plates piled. If you have a steamer plate or shavige stand they are fine too. Take a little ball from the rice flour dough and put into the press. Press the shavige onto the plates like we press chakkuli. Steam it like how we steam idlis, for about 10 minutes. That’s it. Combine with sweet kayi haalu or khara stew / Sagu etc and enjoy.

Yummy.. Whole family's favorite ❤️each one has their way of eating it.. With coconut +jaggery or chilly hing water or hing coconut chutney or coconut bella milk or with konkani style pickle... Coconut oil must.. Pour liberally.... My mother and sister follow this recipe.. My in laws taught me a short cut method... Pour the batter in small katoris and steam it and press each idli in the machine... Saves time... Of course opinion is divided on which style is better.. But my stomach is happy with the result 😁 minimum once a month it is prepared on a weekend...

Very nice Thindi. We used to indulge when my Ajji used to make it. Well, you can also have a Khara version too in making Nimmbe Chitranna voggarney. For sweet version, Ajji used to mix Bella, Kaye, Yellu & swalpa gasagase. Machine is a improved drill press. Neatly done.
