What should I get? I’m debating on: - AKKO V3 Cream Yellow Pro - AKKO V3 Cream Black Pro - AKKO V3 Silver Pro Which one should I get? I used to have a Red Switch Keyboard but had to buy a new one cuz it broke. I now bought the same keyboard (RK61) but in came with Brown Switches because it was on sale. Which one should I get from the 3 Switches I mentioned? I want to try something different than Red Switches BUT would give me almost the same experience.

Is there any difference in the stem wobble with a taller keycap like a MT3 or SA profile keycap? I felt that the non-pro was already pretty tight and probably can't tell on a Cherry profile keycap.... so taller?

I have the gateron milky yellow and i like the thockiness, but find them too muted and too heavy for my liking. i'm a newbie and literally just want a keyboard i enjoy typing on (no gaming). are there switches that are thocky/deepy sounding, a little louder than milky yellow, and smoother/lighter to type on? i see all these #s about forces and grams and "bottom out" etc and I'm just confused...LOL. i have a halo96 and epo th80

this is kinda late but the sarokeys strawberry wine v2s, akko v3 piano pro, ktt vanilla ice cream, and ktt kang whites are all loud and lower-pitched. hope i could help tho!

Nice detailed review! getting into this hobby is really tedious work lol. Currently researching for my first hot swappable kb and switches, I decided to go for a monsgeek m2 and akko cream yellow v3 pro, tho I'm honestly going for a deep thocky sound, not the clacky one. The monsgeek m2 is an aluminun kb, and based on my research, metal kbs tend to give clakier sound and plastic ones give more thocky sound, can you please give me your thoughts on this? If the alum m2 gives more of a clacky sound, can you suggest me switch that will offset it and provide a thocky sound? Can you give me your advice on what switch should I use for the m2 to get that deep thocky sound please? Hope you'll be able to give me your thoughts on my dilemma. Thank you!

yes the M series tend to be on the clacky side. I have a modding guide on the m1, you can see what I did there to remove some hollowness (which is a minor problem of the board. if you want to make the M2 go a bit deeper I suggest using plate foam, PE foam, force break mod, polyfill. Then get some deep thocky switches like feker matcha, gateron milky pro yellow and the like

I purchased both of these switches to try them out and I was very impressed with the cream yellow v3 pro. They feel very satisfying to type on, they make a great sound, and they are cheap. The cream blue v3 pro are also pretty good but the sound was not as good (at least in my case). I had the cream blue v3 and the pros are a drastic improvement. The pros are way smoother and have pretty much none of the crunchiness and ping. I will definitely buy more cream yellow v3 pro switches for more of my keyboards.

bro ? what you talking about ? this switch is meant to be creamy and not clacky or tf whatever it is.. v3 pro is the shitty version ever. it named as cream yellow but it's actually clacky yellow pro v3 at last

No switch provides “thock” other factors apply such as case, foam, plate material, keycaps and other things. If a proclaim thock switch is applied on your own keyboard it will sound different

@@dan3thegoat agree and disagree. Yes the overall build will affect the final sound. However, there are switches that are thocky and clacky by themselves, especially when we compare it to other switches per se (discounting the other components of the build)

I got my akko creamy yellow v3 pro for Php 1,100 for 90 pcs Edit: i have both version. In my honest opinion, their main difference sound wise is the upstroke. I find the pro more lively than the old version yet retaining sa clacky/creamy nature. I do feel it’s a tad bit heavier to type than the old version but not significant but i love nonetheless
