Yeah akko cooked with these switches. The tactility surprised me, I thought it would be light and unnoticeable but it's actually snappy and pronounced while requiring light actuation. Really loving what they've accomplished here.
@Joloham_7 ай бұрын
I recently bought it and it's probably one of the better tactiles out there especially for the price. The switch has a noticeable early bump which makes up for a very satisfying typing experience (and this coming from a linear dude) and you won't need to lube them either if you don't like the process of lubing switches since it feels smooth and and doesn't scratch right out of the box. The switch isn't that loud either, you can hear it, but I doubt it'll annoy anyone around you lmao.

These are quite nice, but Akko needs to give their graphic design department more resources. The back of the box still says yellows which calls into question if the rest of the box has accurate information.

Just assuming, I think it's due to the fact that they are mass producing these and because they are new. Probably got through QA and didn't notice the error. tho if smart enough, you can just google it and find it on their website and official online stores. but yes its frustrating.

I keep finding reviews of affordable switches that say things like, "In this price range,", and "For the money...", etc.; yet I can't seem to find one that actually says what more expensive options they're implicitly being compared to. For someone new to mechanical keyboards like myself, I'm completely lost as to what a more premium version of a creamy, tactile switch would be.
@revakriid6 ай бұрын
Budget switches would be 0.20 USD or less per switch. While premium doubles that price at least. Durock and Zealos are the priciest ones I've seen.
@nadtz6 ай бұрын
Expensive would be something like U4T's that can get up to $1 per switch, 'mid range' something like Gateron Baby Kangaroos at around $.50 per. Not a like for like comparison a lot of the time because of things like actuation force and how much of a bump there is (or isn't) but his website lists a ton of switches to make it easier to get an idea what your options are and price points.

These vs Gat Beers? I have the Beers and love them for being very light and short while still having a pronounced bump, but I just saw these and the shorter travel got me interested

I bought these switches, but I notice some of them get stock a little after pressing them, is this normal? or do they have a fabric defect?

man im torn between this, cream blue pro, or the lavender purple pro
@rival1713 ай бұрын
the cream blue pros and the creamy purple pros are both a mix of linear and tactile sound while the lavender purple pros have a more deep thocky tactile sound. me personally i like the lavender purple pros the best.

I am pretty new to the hobby and only have the Akko cream blue v3 and the leobog ice soul to go off. I did lube both of them, even tho the internet says not to I prefer it. I like the Akkos, but the ice souls are incredible on both feel and sound. Very deep sound. They are a bit scratchy stock so I feel they need lube to be good.

@@TheKillerind 1st of all, u got a whole different keyboard. Its not the same plate as this. The sound signature varied to each board. I got neo70 with a cf plate (foamless) and sounds very simillar to this except the spacebar. Neo70 alu plate spacebar is a bit louder than cf plate. M3's pcb also has 1.2mm thickness compared to Neo's 1.6mm, which will make the M3's sound a bit thin. M3's also has a different layout which is TKL. Neo70 layout is an interesting one, its seperated by 2 sections. 60% on the left side and 10% on the right side. Soo it wouldn't sound the same at all. 😂
