My experience with their tactiles: Creamy purple pros are S tier. Absolutely amazing switch with a nice sound and typing experience. Lavender purples are an easy A tier and super fun to type on. Cream blues are B tier, they have a weird plastic resonance. It’s a nice typing experience, just not the best sound.
@ClawsHDonYoutubeАй бұрын
agree, i bought creamy purples and they sound and feel insanely good, i game a lot and it feels amazing to be "fast" with a tactile. They also came in with free cream blues and honestly, i feel a little bit of plastic scratchiness when i click and not as good of a sound as the purples. wonder how lavenders feel, do they feel lighter or heavier than the blues?
@asterisk4424Ай бұрын
Lavenders will feel almost identical, however they don’t have the same plasticky sound signature blues give off. I see them as a refined cream blue.

I have ordered switches for my last 4 keyboard builds from Milktooth. Great experience each time.

I can personally vouch for how good the Rosewoods and Creamy Purple Pros are, especially lubed. The Creamy Purple Pros are good in both foamless and foamed builds, but I do feel like the Rosewoods require at least a little bit of foam and maybe a tempest mod to truly bring out that deep, resounding, almost bouncy sound that makes them so lovely (then again, if you're using a foamless board, especially with a metal plate, I doubt you were trying to make a thocky build in the first place)
@SSRB_logisticsАй бұрын
yep, rosewood needs foams, otherwise you will hear nothing.

Love the quality in your videos. I'll definitely get the penguin switches soon, needed a silent switch exactly like that sound

No way! I was really considering getting some rosewoods. I've seen reviews and reports saying they are really good for getting a budget thock sound. I'm glad to see you still posting again 😄 Also do you do test kits?

Dayum, those *nylon* stems are gonna be a new meta in terms of deepness. I already have so many ideas for using those stems for frankenswitching.

Absolutely love your reviews! I guess the only thing I think could help to add more variety is also having a thocky keyboard build (such as with foams) for those looking for a thocky sound, since switches perform differently depending in many factors,, ik its all preference but I think that also might be useful :) thank you for sharing!

Using matchas on my first mech board. Looking to get another (one for home one for office) and thinking of trying out the cream blues next. I loke my matchas, but im digging the creamier sound of the cream switches. Might lube my matchas someday

I just tried the V3 Crystal and I was really not a fan. They sounded clumsy and very clacky. I'm fine with clack but the messy sound was unpleasant

Where the clicky ones? in my opinion it’s the best feel for who uses like 2 or 3 hours the computer, got a lowkaps with blue ones. Linear sounds and feels empty

I have the Rosewoods in a Monsgeek M1W v3. They are redonkulously deep sounding, I love it. However for some reason they never want to stay in the board when I remove a keycap. Dunno why this is, I've tried other switches and it's not a board issue - something about my Rosewoods in particular seems to be a little off with their attachment into the hotswap socket. A batch production issue maybe? It doesn't impact their typing performance any, it's just weird to remove a keycap and then have to remove and refit the switch to the board every single time.
