Part 1: • Akon on Growing Up in ...
--------
In this clip, Akon details dropping his second album "Convicted," which features the song "Smack That" with Eminem. When asked how he linked up with Em, Akon explained that he went out to Detroit to look for Eminem despite not having a connection. He explained that his first stop was the strip club, where he started asking around about Em, and he later linked up with Obie Trice, who took Akon to the studio to meet Eminem. Once there, Eminem played a beat that Akon knew he wanted to get on, and he went in the booth to start freestyling harmonies. The next day, he came back and Eminem had finished the track, which you can hear more about above.

@@flygenyus2186 yeah it wasn't that much bc he was too busy with his shady crew (Re-up) and aftermath productions. But he did do features where he could that's my point. Djvald always wrong on the detail but I get your point. Also Em did a couple of songs with Puff.
@sweetnumb
@sweetnumb 3 жыл бұрын
Fun fact: Renegade originally featured Royce Da 5'9". In the original version Eminem didn't go "he's jiggy jurry jiggy ja jiggy jiggy jiggy and I'm" but instead it made SO much more sense when I heard the real lyrics of "he's Royce he's the king of Detroit and I'm the sinister, mister kiss my ass is just a Renegaaaade". Plus as good as Jay-Z is, Royce is really the only one to collaborate with Eminem and not feel like a second-string addition, obviously not counting posthumous collaborations like Eminem and Tupac. That would have been a godly duo though god damn. If only Eminem had the balls to collaborate with Tonedeff, but he's too obsessed with having the highlights on a collaboration so he won't ever do a track where he's outclassed by another rapper in every single possible way other than making beats. Speaking of which, hearing Tonedeff + Eminem on an Eminem beat and on a Tonedeff beat would be fucking insane, and if they were to both collaborate on a Kno beat I doubt any rapper would ever even pretend they were the best again.

Like I would hope that the NBA Young boy and Migos single is either being split five ways or 50-50 between the two brands. I think Rhiannon and TIP did that same move.... or was it the No Love single. Maybe neither but I know there is a few other mega singles

@manner7073
@manner7073 3 жыл бұрын
@@noelr1010 it's perception he may have in the beginning but doesn't mean you have to. Scheduling properly is something you do to prevent over working yourself. Twenty hour say do no equal success. It's all about grinding efficiency, and taking care of yourself.
@noelr1010

@@manner7073 Ehh, I beg to differ. If you work 16 hours vs 8 hours you'll get more done. Depends on the person of course and if the person is actually working. Many fake entrepreneurs really aren't really taking full advantage of time and just say it to sound cool.

@@noelr1010 That is the common is conception you may get more work done but over time: stress, health, relationships, and quality of work will deteriorate. Scheduling is some insane concept, you can be about your business and still have hours of operation and off days.
@manner7073
@manner7073 3 жыл бұрын
@@noelr1010 16 hours of work on leaves 8 hours of the basics too. So just based of that you are already setting yourself up for a hard and way less productive tomorrow. In the creative field you need to give your body and brain a chance to rest. In the labor field you need your mind to be sharp to prevent accidents and shit like that. Im not saying you cant grind long hours, but understand when your always tired, angry, have no social life, unhealthy, fat, no partner, it was due to the intense amount pf stress you put on yourself.
