Excellent question! Divisions for basketball are arranged a little differently. For football, Ohio has about 700+ schools participating and they are split into 7 divisions. Basketball, since everyone makes it into the playoffs, is only split into 4 divisions now (used to be 6, then 5...now 4). So a lot of your division 2 football programs are in division 1 basketball. Hoban, Massillon, even Akron St Vincent St Mary. All Division 1 basketball now

41 is a FRESHMAN. 👀🤣 he was just offered a scholarship by Ohio State for football..... And he hasn't played varsity football yet. Lol kid could be an offensive lineman or Shaquille O'Neal.
