I think wanting to learn and making a LOT of hours with it, does the most in that journey. It worked like that for me when learning Tai Chi Chuan, and also learning the piano. The more hours that went in, and the more I practiced what i loved and wanted to learn, the better I got. Fast. But it totally was the hours. Many, many hours.

I not only love the lutz of pranking teachers and professionals and watching their reactions, it is also a great lesson on what 'sort' of teacher/mentor you would be comfortable with, some are hard core, others are kinda accepting and bendy, the ones who are high on themslves and their abilities I find a bit harder to take. The funny part is that nobody actually starting the lesson with "Okay, what do you know? What is your level..? Play something so we can move on." And when you play "something" they were actually "What should i teach you!?", realizing that they are not at the same level. So there must be something wrong with this? :) edit: Okay.
