not a fan of dusttale sans but i really like this, it's peak and i think their characterizations are, ironically enough, pretty close to canon - sans doesn't remember resets and starts to doubt himself when he realizes frisk isn't fighting anything, chara is observant and sarcastic AND doesn't force you to commit genocide, being implicitly a little happy that you're deciding to face the consequences of your actions by not fighting anything (the "...you don't change..." remark if you kill the mold trio)... good game!!!

I really like how this shows that sans is never truely just breezing through. Every encounter he has is a close one and it’s what gives him the motivation to push on. I wouldn’t be surprised to see an undyne fight in the future as a result of sans failing to survive her spear.

As they shouldn’t. Chara might help you in vanilla Undertale w/ this sort of thing, but they never forced you to stay on the path and even encouraged you not to keep doing it if you did it more than once

He/they never did! Player is always responsible. Chara MERELY gets mentally deranged from out actions AND drives the narrative towards the “x left, that comedian” and after you survive sans, they create the extra turn for you to kill him and then you go on and KILL the other two

oh my god, why does a boss theme for THREE SENTIENT BLOBS OF MOLD GO SO HARD??? i can see why this fangame is taking time, it's all genuinely so atmospheric. the music, the tiny changes like the UI and how the text appears, even the fact that each encounter has its own background depending on where it happens... it's so peak...

Soooooo let me get this straight all that changes in the Pacifist route is that Sans doesn't start killing enemies in the 1st section of Waterfall, the fight with Sans and Frisk has a few different attacks, no chase section with Sans, you fight the Mold Squad instead of River Person in the mine area of Waterfall, and maybe emphasizes on MAYBE a different Pacifist outcome with Undyne if you kill Sans during the Undyne VS Sans encounter in Hotland or wherever it's going to be set in... eventually. I mean that's cool but I was expecting a bit more not going to lie there

To be fair, if you think about it, Waterfall is also the FIRST zone of the game... Expecting the game to go crazy with changes from the start is kind of unreasonable.

@@cosmikpowa3133 I just think it would have gone crazier with the changes considering if we're talking about actual Undertale, Waterfall is the 3rd area of 5 in the game and considering that's more then halfway through the game I just think you can probably get away with the bigger changes at the start because of that circumstance and again just to emphasize this before someone gets on my case for this I really do like the changes and would put this take of Dusttale as 1 of the best I'm just a little disappointed not a lot changed in all honesty between Pacifist and Genocide considerating the circumstances on where this takes place lore wise

Yay there is now pacifist now all there is left is the dustbelief route you need to keep talking as papyrus you can heal once for the next attack which I would suggest doing it on turn 5 for sans then talk one last time then survive a harder attack then you should be locked into dustbelief which it’s actually just a whole fight against papyrus

As much as sans is a cool character and everyone makes asgore seem like a weak old guy… He is the exact monster who would fight humanity when the war was ongoing. The one to give them a run for their money given he has the highway defense and attack, unlike most monsters who tire his onslaught only seems to slow down if he has moral anguish. Such as trouble claiming the soul of any human child especially one who might look like one he knew dearly.

I like Chara not protesting or anything if you don't kill monsters... that's a pretty in character thing for them to do, rather then taking control of Frisk for some reason and forcing them to kill. In Undertale, they're always on your side, no matter the route you do. It's not up to them, it's up to you, and anything you choose, they'll go along with it. You're both partners after all.

Nice playthrough although the game is so innacruate in so many ways. Sans got too much plot armor. Aint no way blud really went head first against undyne. Undyne should won the fight, not sans. "Oh its cause sans has lv 🤓" To start of a level 20 frisk has 99 hp, if frisk only obtained that much Sans would have gained 1/20 of it cause he starts of with 1 hp and not 20. Besides his karma wouldn't effect the battle with papyrus anyways
