The reason we all love sans and want to see him snap is because we love the archetype of the “sleeping bear” so relatable. Sleeping bear archetype (inspired by old man Henderson): the bear sleeps and usually doesn’t move, when you poke it usually ignores you. Poke it too much and it might roll over to crush you, however if you decide to wake the bear, you deserve the punishment of waking said bear Sans pessimism and nihilism makes him into this character who believes change can never truly happen, so his brother is the ONLY thing that gave him light in these dark times.

We always forget that Alphys has done a lot of things like the DT experiments and the plans to free the Underground through it, even if it went horribly wrong. Not to mention the fact, that I discovered while writing a fic in an amalgamate’s pov, that Alphys was playing with lives in those experiments. Sure, they were on death’s door, but that’s still just a few steps away from doing some horrible things.

Amazing. That is one of the most accurate depictions of Sans breaking down i've seen. Papyrus also being the only one to get Sans to stop being a slacker hit so hard, as he probably IS the only one that can make anyone change, because he believes. 13:52 it was interesting to see this more serious version of Papyrus even though he was always happy and go lucky he knew Sans was keeping secrets. It’s sad that’s Sans knowing they’re stuck in a constant loop of genocidle routes timelines has used jokes as a coping method to stop himself from breaking down. I think it’s a good thing Sans doesn’t tell Papyrus or the others the full truth because I don’t think they could handle it. Also considering og dusttale idea is about rivalry between Sans and human, where Sans specifically steals LV by farming monsters to achieve victory. Can't tell much about this Dusttale comic tho, kinda complicated, but it fits better to the au idea than UT Dusttale. I've missed the moment why and how Alphys starts genocide and gets to remember after resets, while the story's main focus is on Sans who straight up doesn't give a damn about human.
