Akulva animatronic speech demo using Arduino, Picotalk and servos

Here is a short demo of how I made my Tauren Frost Deathknight Akulva talk using a mic, Arduinos, Picotalk, amplifier and subwoofer.
I didn't go into a ton of detail but this will give you an idea of what you can do.

I failed to go into detail in the video. It's a 12 volt system that powers a class D amplifier that in turn powers the sealed 8" sub housed in one of the thighs. I use a microphone as input, the signal is split into two paths: one route from the mic goes to an Arduino that lowers the pitch of my voice in realtime and is sent to the amp which outputs to the sub. The other path is sent to a Picotalk which controls the servo in the jaw much like a graphic equalizer, soft talking gives small jaw movement while loud speaking opens the mouth much wider. These two paths from the mic give the illusion of Akulva's speech.
