Note: I am not sure if you need to finish world tour since I finished it a long time ago but later in the mission you do need to have moves from Manon, Luke, and JP. In sf4 where akuma and gouken fought, he failed to shoruken on gouken, gouken out-strength him with block, he could only beat gouken with hellish force kinda like harry potter dark arts, the rage demon. In all these year he tried to perfect his fist to be unblockable. Btw the statue is himself and oni is the latest form of akuma who fought asura but in different timeline. Easter egg "Just like him the same look.", refer to the gouken, a honorable opponent that he can never defeat with pure inner force of the fist.

World Tour Mode is INFINITELY BETTER than SFV story mode

WT mode has always been about us not these guys. The best they did was show where we're at in the timeline while setting up some cinematic story mode like SFV did when it got that update.
