Haha there’re a lot of parallels between the two pairs. Even in the openings they’re often put together (flashing between chuuya/dazai and atsushi/akutagawa). And then we have Mori and Fukuzawa, which would probably be pretty similar given their differences. “A diamond can only polish a diamond.” By butting heads and coming in conflict with one another, they can improve as people and, in this case, as fighters. I think Natsume Soseki started this with Mori and Fukuzawa and it just get passed down lol
