Now, 35 to 40 yrs later, we who love 80s music of any genre still keep the memories alive. Just a quick note on nostalgia. I fell in love with the 60s. A club I frequent call "Memories in Margate" played many nostalgic 60s music 🎶. Then the party 🥳 started after 10 pm with 80s dance music 🎶. 😁

I agree. I’m in my mid 20s so I missed the 90s. But idk NYC feels like now everyone just is like “I’m from NYC so I’m cool”. Whereas back then, NYC was just naturally cool because of how much pure talent was coming out of the city. Personally I don’t care for the drill music going on rn. It ain’t my taste. And I know the murder rate was worse back then, but the music now just is about killing and dissing each other’s dead homies. It’s no talent imo. No clever rhyme. No lyrical genius. Same beats. Maybe I’m just an “old head”. But NYC lost its flavor I believe
