Let there be a group among you who call ˹others˺ to goodness, encourage what is good, and forbid what is evil-it is they who will be successful. 3:104 This is a clear indication in the plural, a group. For any group to work requires organization, discipline and planning. It does not preclude research to how best to implement goals , scholarly activity, principles of mass action , pressure etc. This is Jama’at. An institute of lestning can be subsumed in it. I don’t see a limitation. If there is a limitation it relates to an ivory tower organized effort . Ghamdi sahib’s argument is not convincing on this matter. Raise all boats. Political education is practical and only possible through practice. It is not understandable why Ghamdi sahib is so hostile to Jama’at. Politics is intrinsic to human collective life and clear example of the ten years of the Prophet’s (saww) life. What is the reference related to the Khwarij? Are there any references to Khwarij sources? The Ibadi have much advanced concepts of political system. Dud the Khwarij call themselves Khwarij?
