The first episode, with the blonde stewardess, is the closest Al ever came to cheating on his wife in the full 10 years of the series. And he ultimately walked away. The setup for the episode, as I remember it, was that the Bundy family flew some place for a vacation, and on the return trip the airline lost one of their suitcases. Later that evening, Al got a call saying they found the suitcase and it was over at a stewardess' apartment, where he could pick it up. He went to pick it up, and the rest of the episode speaks for itself. My highlight of the episode comes early, where she's admiring his muscular arms, and comments that "its probably from all the flushing (of the toiled as he "does his dooty."). Its easy to miss if you're not familiar with Al's personal hygiene habits. For the episode at the shoe store with his neighbor and the "hooter alert" the girl was Barbie Benton, who was an actual Playboy Playmate Of The Year, and in fact, for some years was Playboy Publisher Hugh Hefner's personal ladyfriend. The episode with the drop-dead gorgeous blond in Al's dream, she was later the star of Beverly Hills 90210. I can't remember her name, but she was gorgeous to the extent that men would cry when just looking at her. Sorry, but her name escapes me. The other lady that comes into the room, with her glasses and briefcase, it was Al's fantasy wife who actually had a job and was productive in life, as opposed to his series wife Peggy. . It was a heckuva dream. I don't remember her name either; its been 30 years since MWC has been on, and sometimes my memory doesn't last that long.
