Keep kids on hardtails as long as possible, I did and now they are 14/16 they ride light and safe. I would also add, they always had full body protection so they were not afraid of falling and learned how to bail. Wyn for the win on being a dad.

Great to see the harm of social media highlighted by Wyn, not a message I was expecting to hear on this podcast. I’m a counsellor/therapist and honestly the damage it’s had on young peoples mental health that I have witnessed is both terrifying and incredibly sad. Honestly think it needs some proper laws/restrictions put in place.

What a wonderful alfresco chat 😊 Don’t want to say much, but I just have to add letting your lad / daughter do their first proper drop is, well terrifying and then there’s the day you have to take your kid home with a busted bone - although, I should add that my lad had to take me home thouroughly fractured before I needed to return the favour 😂

Also, being one of the ppl that watched everything live in the past, my personal take is that I am not willing to pay for the content if the other content of that platform isn't anywhere close to relevant for me. I still follow all the social media just as in the past, but it does sometimes feel like artificial respiration on an interest that I just cannot quite get the same fix for anymore.
