TheWALLofMusic I love his music too. My grandmother's favorite song was we're in this love together. Man!. She used to play the daylights out of that 45.

Notice how Al takes a genuine interest in her talent and dreams in dance? That tells you something about this man

Wow, I can tell that my music icon is not feeling his very best, here. Yet, he was so dedicated to his fans and serving to make a positive difference, even if it meant tiring himself out. His joy came from his unselfish giving. Even when he wasn't feeling his best, his inner joy still exuded through his wonderful personality. I truly regret that I started seeing his "soon-to-be" transition and prayed that God would just heal him and keep him with us longer. At least, I know that he's no longer suffering and in a better place than we are. We love you, dearly, Al!.

How sharp he was.. When you've been a communicator your whole life, things only get better in the freedom of the waning days when you can freely talk about the journey.

What a wonderful spirit Al Jarreau has I'm not going to say had because my philosophy is just like his when he spoke about George Duke just being around the bend and. because they're both are soaring and flying into another beautiful Realm another plane of existence that's why we must treat people with respect and dignity while we're here on this life Journey that is my philosophy and I see that it was Al's also, great interview.....Shalom

"I wish I had written take five, but Dave Brubeck wrote that" - every jazz musician ever, but especially Al Jarreau.
