Al Jarreau wanted to be a orofessional baseball player for The Milwaukee Brewers. He did not make it but anytime he got on stage with the microphone, he hit a grand slam! I was lucky to see him twice in osrson. RIP Al and know you are gone but not forgotten.

Steve Gadd was a long-time-fellow of both Al Jarreau and Michel Petrucciani. Heard them live several times, wonderful memories. So sad, that Al and Michel passed away. Very interesting to get aware, how similar Steve's groove is compared to what Al is laying down at the beginning. Musical fellowship at it's finest. :)

@@garyaugustus1009 Wow, that was early ... I started later ... "Aja". I also admired "50 Ways", but didn't know, who was the guy on the drumset. Consciously I followed him since "Gaucho" and "Jarreau". First live-experience was with Chick in the early nineties. Mindblowing! Later Michel Petrucciani, Eric Clapton, Steve's own bands. Waiting for a new tour.
