It's 4am in NYC, I'm standing in front of a dryer in a laundomat...and for some reason I'm thinking of a guy my college buddies and I used to watch in 1992. Al Mutherf#&:ing Kaprillian. Nice to see him again. High pressure!!

A couple of yrs ago(2020), my son and I met Al at Macy's in Mall Of NH, where he was working. A real pleasure. A few days ago(2021), my son tells me Al patronized the CVS in Merrimack occasionaly.

Went to college 1 yr behind Al's class.. We all knew Al as a student, highly animated individual. My close friend was in weather science advanced courses with him. As i recall, we had a bunch of high_rolling weather science grads, and a fair number of em went on to become either forecasters or researchers..... Jim Cantore and Gary Sadowsky come to mind. Those were some days, looking back..... Hope they all are in good health and good company :)

I grew up in NH and thought all weathermen were like this. I moved to California and not only is the weathermen boring, but the weather too! He was one of a kind certainly.

When I lived in Massachusetts, I remember seeing his forecast before every Simpson's episode. Love this goofy Meteorologist. I'll always remember his "HI PRESSURE" delivery 😄

Just so u know.... Al was that zany long before he even graduated. We knew him during college.. Be assured, he had no need to copy anyone and in fact he was this way on an everyday basis
