I remember how I discovered it. I was going to the toilet in the middle of the night and walked on my mom wrapping the presents in the kitchen. The fact that she looked like an awoken troll and thew me out the room didn't help with reducing my rising suspicion.

Fun fact, Saint Nicholas was a catholic saint and bishop of Myra. Tragically he was nothing like the Americanized portrayal of him. He was a huge advocate of giving wealth to the poor and he even helped the disabled (one of his three miracles involving giving three disabled little girls some joy in their lives).

@amylee89692 жыл бұрын
Yeah 12 is a little too old to believe in Santa. But then again......plenty of teens and adults who are detached from reality and believe in unrealistic things. Remember when you were 14, and believed you were going to marry your hot crush from school? Plenty of adults believe that their bad toxic habits are ok and get really angry and defensive in a childish way whenever someone calls them out on it.

What's up with all the lies people tell to their kids about Santa, tooth fairy and easter bunny? What is the purpose of this? Isn't it cruel when they found out that their parents have been lying to them all these years?? Isn't it actually better for the parents to tell them the presents are from them so the kids love, respect and appreciate them more than some fictive character?? What's the history behind these characters and do kids still believe in them this century?
@Jeff-ob3rk9 жыл бұрын
It's incentive to make their kids behave. If they do, they will be rewarded with presents. Just be happy you didn't grow up believing in Krampus.

Wow , a normal "conversation" on a YT video from an American "talk" show without asinine sketches about comic book characters or juvenile games at some sad convention where so called adults "whoop and holler" because somebody mentioned a piece of dialogue from a film or magazine. Things are looking up. Lets hope this is a future trend but I am not going to hold my breath.

Debonair Damsel Yes.....so I understand....but it's also nice to listen to fully adjusted human beings conversing about the more normal and mundane aspects of life in a slightly cynical way without being confronted with "special powers" or "fantasised weapon systems" or short attention span pranks that involve either trick photography or injuring members of the public unnecessarily all in the pursuit of views and peer approval clicks accompanied by stereotypical comments of "awesome", "way to go dude" , "lmao" or even "those who dislike this must be retarded".
