I had a pulmonary embolism in 2015. I had been sick for two weeks with a respiratory infection, so I was sleeping most of that time. One morning I felt so much better, I went to my hair stylist. I felt nauseated and hot, and suddenly I was unconscious. I traumatized a lot of people before one on the stylists got me breathing again. I spent a week lying flat in the hospital with IVs and a shot in my stomach. Don't lie around in bed if you are sick. That's how I got my pulmonary embolism. Scariest thing ever once I lost the fog from it. It took over a year to lose my fear.

Turn on the Today Show every morning for the past 20 years that I have lived here, and Al has been the constant on the show throughout all that time. The mornings feel off when he isn't there. So glad to see him back. Amazing how hair sort of aged Al. When he is back to a shaved head, I couldn't honestly tell you how old he is.

I am very glad to see Al back on the Today Show. I like his humor, his personality, and they way he interacts with the other hosts. However I very much dislike when he goes into "yelling" mode. He doesn't need it to get attention and it seems rather feigned.

A has a messed up body, remember when he was obese? Then packed that junk in the truck suit. Yea had my Galbladder out by myself. My neighbor fed the animals for a week after. It's no big deal. I'm older than Al, not fat and still have all my hair.
