Hello Dr, My wife is 36w pregnant we had done doppler test at below times, is it normal? Do we need to take any further tests? 25w --------- MCA - PI 3.21 - NORMAL UMBLICAL ARTERY - PI 1.18 - INCREASED UTERINE ARTERY - MEAN PI 1.38 - INCREASED IMPRESSION PLACENTAL INSUFFICIENCY 36w --------- MCA - PI 3.21 - NORMAL UMBLICAL ARTERY - PI 0.85 - NORMAL UTERINE ARTERY - MEAN PI 1.21 - INCREASED

Placental insufficiency means lack of blood flow to placrnta .. your doc should prescribe certain dise of aspirin for blood circulation and some nitrates ... To prevent pre eclempsia ... How was the pregnancy

I am 19 weeks 3 days pregnant, it's my first pregnancy. In my 12th week ultrasound report it was mentioned ,"PI of bilateral uterine arteries are 1.40 and 1.78 on right and left side respectively. Mean PI is 1.59 below 95th centile for the given gestational age." What does it mean?

My wife mad this test yesterday fetus is 21 weeks 6 days gestational Age, and the results wasn't good for the uterine artery (blood velocity +ve pre-diastolic notch, Mean P.I=2.35 (Abnormal) the rest of results are good nothing to worry about the fetus is running in 13 Percentile , we are already on clexane 60 and aspirin 75 since beginning of pregnancy as she has antiphospholipid syndrome which was noticed after our first bad experiment. I don't know what we should expect now from her second pregnancy?

Hi, I wonder if someone could help me? What if the Uterine Artery PI is low? At 13 weeks, PI left 0.87 and PI right 1.20? I am finding it very hard to find information relating to it being low.
