38 yrs after becoming a nurse, watching a child being born is still the most amazing, miraculous thing I have ever seen, next to the transition from life to death. As a new mother, I was still a novice. For me it was not the same as teaching other moms. Imagine that precious cargo being nourished and incubated inside another human being. And, my only sweet baby boy, who is now 31yrs old, is one of the greatest gifts God has given me. Parenting is such an important responsibility. If only we all viewed the opportunities to create and nurture great people with reverence. It is not for everyone, and the decision to bear and raise a child should not be taken lightly.

Absolutely. My daughter wasn’t “planned” although we tried for 3.5 years. When we found out we were pregnant, we had no clue how/when it happened. Still to this day we can’t pinpoint when exactly we conceived her because I didn’t know I was ovulating and at the time I was having 2 health crises, one being having Covid.

7 weeks pregnant 🥳❤️ I’m in the stage right now where I can’t believe a human is growing inside me still. This video made me cry happy tears and just be in awe of how life is formed . Our first ultrasound is a week , so excited ! 🥺💕 Update: 14 weeks now , we did a blood test for genetics & gender ..it’s a boy! & genetic testing came back all normal. So excited to meet him eventually soon 💙 Update: 22 weeks and 4 days . Anantomy scan was perfect and this bub moves around like crazy (much like his dad) I can feel all his movements, and took cute little videos of them firsthand at the anatomy scan . He has long legs and big feet 🦶 he’s going to be a tall one probably ( I’m 5’9 - husband is 6’4) 😆❤️ Update: I’m 30 weeks and quite honestly ready for it to be over and to meet him, he moves around still a lot but the movements are more obvious and sometimes uncomfortable since he is much bigger now . We went to a 4D HD ultrasound and were able to fully see his features and expressions , he was hiccuping , yawning and smiling . He has big lips and a small wide nose . He slept through most of the ultrasound so we tried to get him awake so he can get into a better position but NoTHING was waking him up! Little stinker has his own schedule. We’re just counting down the weeks now and while we do so ,we’re getting his nursery set up and ready . Byeee Update 36 weeks : I’m exhausted and I feel heavy . Baby dropped further down and I’m 2cm dilated and 50% effaced . He’s measuring closer to 6 pounds at the moment ! Baby boy’s nursery is fully done and everything is ready for him . Waiting for my water to break soon . My doctor is expecting me to give birth around 37 weeks because of how progressed I am ! We’ll see . I haven’t been on KZbin much lately, so Thank you again for those of you who have sent kind words and encouragement! 💙 💛 he’ll be here so soon .. Update: Orion was born on June 21st,2022 at 1:11pm weighing 6 pounds 10 ounces , my water broke immediately after doing a labor inducing yoga workout contractions officially got more intense the next day. We went in early morning and they told us I was 6cm dilated.. I begged for pain meds by this point so after a covid test and some blood work they gave me an iv pain killer and the epidural . Not long after they gave me a tiny bit of pitocin and I was at 10cm ready to push , after 15 minutes of pushing my sweet baby boy was born . Orion is 1 month old and we’ve just been adjusting to newborn life , he is so perfect and is a great baby . Thank you everyone for asking for updates and your messages and everything . Came here because I lost my first baby to an “incompatible with life” condition at 26 weeks. I wish there was somewhat an explanation like this for mothers who have lost their babies to understand a little bit better what or when could have happened. I did an autopsy and got no response, drs just tell me it won’t happen again and that maybe it happened at 6 weeks but the anxiety of going through it all again is just very hard. Hoping to calm myself down a bit more to be able to start tryin again.

I just watched this video and it brought tears to my eyes. It's really God's handy work that protects and guides all pregnancy. My wife has been a victim of two miscarriages (1st and 2nd trimester). Now she's pregnant again and I know by God's grace we'll have our first baby. If anyone wants to deny there's a God in heaven, the entire birthing process reveals an unseen hand working. Psalms 139: 13-17 reminds us that is God's hands that guide this process. Before we knew she was pregnant we were involved in vigorous and strenuous activities that should have caused this pregnancy to be terminated also but God kept the zygote well check unto the embryo phase. As our unborn is now called a fetus, I trust that God continues to protect her and all other women who'll go down the same road. Pregnancy is a life and death situation and by God's grace we'll be carried through this safely. Blessings to those who'll read this now and hereafter. John 3:16

Truly I am creating a miracle with the help of God. No wonder I feel so tired and awful.
