The wolf is caged for a short time to test reaction of the livestock guardian dogs, its a huge part of their breeding and is essential to test as they age and see how they score- helps to pick out who the best dogs are and who should be being bred. They are the biggest wolf species in the world and a kangal has no chance against a fully grown male and thats a fact of facts my friend! They stand at 34 to 25 inches from shiulder. Biggest have been recorded upto 235 pounds with big heavy skulls.

However, I have owned several LGD's that perceived any canine with pointed ears as a threat until proven otherwise. Should the wolf or Coy-wolf enter the dogs territory, one should expect the dog to exhibit a high degree of territorial protective drive. A coy-wolf entered my fenced property this fall, and my female COA killed it. She was in heat, and I assume that it was attracted by her scent. Too small of an animal to mate with my girl, he would of needed a step stool. But she wasn't having it and just about tore him in half. Any wolf displaying aggression would be quickly dealt with.

@@destroyerx2513 Yes, I would say the majority of the country allows you to have any breed, if they take them in a city that bans them, they'll usually fine the person and ship the dog too a county/state that adopts out on average. I agree these breeds should be with experienced owners mentally/phyisacally or someone who has alot of experience, but they are not the monsters they are made out to be if treated with love and respect. And yea you’re right they aren’t monsters it’s just bad behavior that isn’t corrected at the right age for the dogs, that leads them to be destructive and they think it’s ok since no one ever corrected them. I looking into getting a Rottweiler instead I wouldn’t like getting fined or having my dog shipped somewhere else because I violated some regulations.

Очень непрофессионалный тест. Я долгое время занимаюсь этой породой собак, и поверьте, собака собаке рознь. У этой породы есть несколько направлений. Кто занимался, тот поймёт. Долго объяснять. Единственное что объединяет всех собак этой породы - это их ум и интеллект. Иногда он гораздо выше чем у их хозяев. Собаки абсолютно спокойной и правильно реагируют на волка. Он в клетке и не представляет опасности ни для стада, ни для хозяина, ни для них самих. И собаки это понимают. Жаль что этого не понимают люди, которые там собрались. Жалкое зрелище, да и при всём при этом ещё и животное (волка) мучают. Больно на это смотреть.
