When my husband died in August of 2017, his desire was to be cremated and be placed in a niche in the new Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroad in TN. My mom is at the point of death at 92 from a massive stroke. Because He Lives, we will get through this. I miss her already. She can no longer speak, but she lets us know she hears us. Thank you God. For your mercy and your grace. A week ago, I was spending the night with her ( before the stroke 4 days ago ) and I was watching her on the baby monitor. She had coughed and I was watching to see if she was going to get out of bed, because I always get up with her and make sure she gets to the bathroom and back without falling. But she didn't get up this time. She pulled the covers back up around her neck, and went back to sleep. I was still watching her ( I had not gone to sleep yet ). As she lay there a ball of light appeared above her head, and I focused on it trying to figure out where this bright light came from , and after about 2 seconds, it flew into an arch ( rainbow ) with a tail on it like you would see on a comet. When it got to the top of the rainbow arch, it disappeared. I lay there thinking "what was that", then it dawned on me what it was. Days later she had a massive stroke. If you don't get this, you need to know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior. Thank you GOD.

Alfred Brown i am also so, so sorry for the loss of your mother. my mother passed suddenly and unexpectedly in 1998, when I was just 21, and i didnt know how i would make it without my best friend. i am now about to be 40, and not a day goes by that i dont miss her, even still. but with Jesus by your side, you can get through each day knowing that you will be with her again, for eternity, and with eternal happiness. Nice and slow, like it's supposed to be! I used to sing this down in a one room Church as a kid in Kentucky! Church wasn't fancy, no carpet, Sunday school in different corners for different ages! But so much love of the people and of God in that little wooden church, that's how I grew up as a kid in Kentucky! Those were wonderful days! Grandpa always was in "Amen Corner"! Would ride in Grandpas' old car, grandkids sitting 3 deep in back seat to church! Good memories!

I met them when I was very young and shy. Randy asked me my name. I wasn't expecting that, and I literally forgot it! LOL!!! He stayed completely patient with me. I didn't realize back then that they were Christians. Now I wonder if that was part of his incredible character. :-)
