I am a full time hospice nurse and when a patient who has died exits the hospice, we have a “walk out” . The family follows their loved one out to the hearse and the staff follow the family. The family will often choose a song to play as their loved one exits the hospice. If the family can’t think of one, or if the deceased has no family present; I will choose this song. It is so beautiful ♥️

Five years ago, my life was a vortex of despair, almost a sad cliché. Growing up in a broken home, I carried the weight of the world on my shoulders. At 16, I was already battling depression, and by 20, I had dropped out of college, unable to see a future worth living for. Jobs came and went, as did relationships, each leaving me more hollow than the last. It's hard to describe the depth of loneliness and hopelessness that consumed me. I was teetering on the edge of ending it all, convinced that the world would be better off without me. Then, one cold, sleepless night, I stumbled upon Alan Jackson's cover of 'Amazing Grace' on KZbin. I clicked play, not expecting much. But as Alan's voice carried through my tiny, dimly lit room, something within me shifted. For the first time in years, I felt a glimmer of hope. The song's message of redemption and grace touched a part of my soul I thought was long dead. It spoke of second chances and forgiveness, of being lost and then found. I must have listened to it a hundred times that night, each time feeling a little more alive. That song, that moment, became the turning point of my life. It led me to explore faith, something I had dismissed long ago. With newfound strength and purpose, I began to rebuild my life, one small step at a time. I went back to school, graduated, and started a small tech company with a friend. Through hard work, innovation, and a bit of divine inspiration, the company exploded in growth, catapulting me to success I never dared to dream of. Today, I'm not just a survivor; I'm a thriving entrepreneur, making billions and using my wealth to help others find their path out of darkness. But more than the money or success, I've found peace and a sense of belonging in this world. And it all began with Alan Jackson's 'Amazing Grace.' That song saved my life, showed me the presence of a higher power, and led me to a purpose greater than myself. For anyone out there struggling, know this: there is hope, there is grace, and sometimes, it finds you in the most unexpected ways.

It is always best to remember that no matter how bad things get, God will always rightsize it through the light which flows from our actions should we choose to be governed by His word. By being disciplined like this, we can conquer our sinful flaws and replace them with divine strengths like humility, equality, peace, forgiveness, pacifism, and above all, love. This grace, in turn, does away with error to embrace light in order to transform us into better people one step at a time. Thus, we must be thankful to God for this transcendence and be humble enough to take part in it for the good of God and His Creation.

Lets be very clear here. The lord's children are citizens of heaven. However, while we live in this evil and sinful world, we are not to sit idly. We are to defend the Christian faith. That means supporting everything that God calls good. How someone can call themselves a Christian and then support a party that openly supports the murder of innocent children and countless other sins, that is beyond comprehension to me. I would not want to be that person on the day that I have to answer to the lord.

He sings the truth. A God who sent his only son to suffer and die for us poor sinners truly is an awesome God. The fact that he loves us as he does is truly amazing grace. This song was played when I surrendered my life to preaching the word of God. God bless those who have and have not been saved by His amazing grace.
@FenrirWolfe19 жыл бұрын
+Razorback15 How is letting your own son suffer and die awesome in any way? Because we're saved now? Saved from what? The first sin of the first two humans, right? The funny thing is: The children of Adam and Eve are not responsible for that and yet they apparently still had to suffer and so do we (i.e. until we die - thanks to the torture and murder of "God's son"). Your god is one sadistic bastard. Thankfully, "he" doesn't exist. There was no "Adam and Eve". There is no such thing as a "sin". Now tell me how I'm going to burn in hell for all eternity... all because I didn't believe in "him".
@FenrirWolfe18 жыл бұрын
***** It's all BS to me but there is biblical "proof" that Jesus was "God" like John 1:14 and 10:30. Then there are the times when he was worshipped but he didn't tell them to stop (Matthew 2:11, 28:9; Luke 24:52). They even called him "Son of God" in Matthew 14:33.

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found; was blind, but now I see. 'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved; how precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed. Through many dangers, toils, and snares, I have already come; 'tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home. When we've been there ten thousand years, bright shining as the sun, we've no less days to sing God's praise than when we first begun. Amazing grace! How sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me! This song has been played and sang by so many and it is always beautiful and unique because all those who sing it star and Regular Joe alike are individuals and it's from the spirit. I just recently lost my elderly Pitbull Roxy:-( she meant so much to me because I am old and elderly and weak and she comforted me and I believe there is a place for her in heaven. While I just am in shock knowing it was time for her to go because of her suffering and the kindness of my son who took her to the vet one last time.. I turned to this song to honor her you just let myself cry
