Sunday, August 28, in Washington, President Obama leads the nation in dedicating a new national memorial to the late civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. King was a southern Baptist minister who rose to become the leading voice of the nation's modern day civil rights movement during the1950's and 1960's. His struggle for equal rights and those of millions of African Americans did not come easily. VOA's Chris Simkins has more on one of the pivotal events in the civil rights movement that brought national and international attention to King and his philosophy of non-violence.

I couldn’t imagine having to confront biting dogs held by the very people who are supposed to serve and protect me. I hope every single one of these school kids know that their courageous attitudes and spirits on those disgraceful days helped bring civil justice to their people.

They knew this would happen and marched anyway, knowing they wouldn’t fight back. MLK saw the success of Gandhi and adapted the strategy to the USA. If they fight back, the oppressors will use it to justify the racism they already held. But if hey don’t, people will have no choice but to see how monstrous racism really is. These are some of the bravest people in history and I will respect them until I die.

They know that we're not just going to march, sing, cry & hold hands about it if they EVER think that these types of atrocities will ever be commonplace again. It's not all the way better, now, but it isn't this either. & Don't @ me about the summer of 2020 or any bs about Chicago or DNC cities that are in poverty. All we say to America is, “Be true to what you said on paper.” If I lived in China or even Russia, or any totalitarian country, maybe I could understand some of these illegal injunctions. Maybe I could understand the denial of certain basic First Amendment privileges, because they hadn’t committed themselves to that over there. But somewhere I read of the freedom of assembly. Somewhere I read of the freedom of speech. Somewhere I read of the freedom of press. Somewhere I read that the greatness of America is the right to protest for right. And so just as I say, we aren’t going to let dogs or water hoses turn us around, we aren’t going to let any injunction turn us around. We are going on. ~MLK~

02:33 is for the black man that loosed his two large German Shepherds on me today outside of the Starbucks. He was waiting for me to turn the curb, then gave the dog a command to approach me without a leash. The dog charged me, then stopped as he commanded it to. Looking confused the dog came in my direction again, then stopped, as the owner again called it back. The animal was very confused as to what it was supposed to do. First of all this is illegal in Nashville. But I know the cops here will not address it, because they are also targeting me. I calmed my self and held eye contact with the owner. "wassup?" he stated, glaring at me. "You sic your dogs on me" I asked? "Naw." he lied. "you ain't white". I then walked off calm, but feeling that heat starting to rise in me, as I knew that I had just been targeted. The equivalent of which is having a loaded gun pointed at me and not fired. This is a blatant disregard of legality, law, and the allowance of harm against other beings. AND it happened on Mother's Day. Oddly, I had just seen the same police officer that several months ago, had reached for his gun while I removed my ear plugs. And then two German Shepard's are basically loosed on me; sadly, by another black man. Mr. Black Man, do you not know your history, and how black , brown, yellow, and even white people were terrorized all over the world by these "German" shepherds? So what protection do I have here, if I can be targeted at my job for violence, targeted at my own home with violence, targeted by law enforcement and citizens with violence? How do I defend my right to live on this planet? are there no spirits of the Earth that can aid me? Are all my ancestor's deaf to my need for personal safety? Has all the military completely forsaken the constitution or the law of do no harm? Are there zero consequences for acts of intended violence against humans? I am asking my Kemetic ancestors, the Earth spirits, the military, denizens of the lower middle and upper worlds, and any and all off world allies that I may have? HOW DO I PROTECT MY LIFE FORCE? And will you PLEASE AID ME and all humans in doing so?

These amazing people went through hell. They truly fought for what they wanted. Equality. These fools nowadays follow the culture. Dr King did his job. Can’t we support his faith in peace and equality? Not gangs and crime.

If i could i would go back in time to when Martin Luther King was alive and before James Earl Ray could shot him would knock the gun out of his hand and blast him through the wall with the power stone or i would revive Martin Luther King before at his funeral before they bury him.

I’m reminded of the argument of peaceful protests vs riots in 2020, considering the mlk-led protest was at most civil disobedience what happened in the summer of 2020 is nothing short of a mockery to the 1960’s protestors and the manifestation regarding the democrat-led destruction of the black nuclear family.

We never received justice for what we suffered and for what we built; we only receive contempt. Instead of reparations, we get performative POC solidarity and pan-Africanism pandering from a nation of immigrants who prosper from our pain and exploitation.
