I like Greg b/c he isn’t a Bamer Homer. He is very intelligent and his insights of being unbiased with other programs in the country. He’s one of best quarterback’s that played at Alabama. I love his commentary on television. He understands how to communicate to those who know little about the game. Great guy and wish him well in his new role of Commentary in Sports.

I think if Georgia can mentally play a good game, then they physically have a chance of winning. Like last season, it just seemed to come down to mistakes. As of the past Kentucky game, with Georgia not playing their best, I think that’s now become somewhat of a rivalry game. Kentucky always seems to play harder against Georgia at home and they simply want to beat one of the best teams in the nation.
@THE_Secular_ConservativeАй бұрын
As a GA fan, all good things must come to an end. Their O line is less than expected, and they are likely to lose in the trenches, on both sides, actually. GA loses its first regular season game since 2020. Hopefully they keep it close and not a blow out.
@davidjohnson6747Ай бұрын
As a Bama fan, even though we’ve had good success against Ga…. I am always very nervous about Georgia. Same is true today… not confident at all
@THE_Secular_ConservativeАй бұрын
@@davidjohnson6747 I would be pretty confident. Beck is overrated, has a weak deep ball, and can not function unless all factors are perfect.
@Saintnick9493Ай бұрын
@@THE_Secular_Conservativedude pass protection was putrid at Kentucky. 99% of QBs play poorly when dealing with that, too include Milroe btw. Oh also fun fact that Milroe’s completion percentage is a shred lower than Carson’s against way lesser competition and way less passes. Carson will be just fine. Our fan base just expects perfection all the time.

I can answer that question. I know why Kirby has been so much more successful as head coach than all of the other coaches from the Nick Saban coaching tree : *•* Mark Richt left him a gold mine *•* Kirby was always an elite SEC recruiter *•* He's a Georgia alumnus who understands Athens *•* UGA's administration was willing to financially commit completely to Kirby (largely because he was an alumnus the boosters wouldn't have to fear leaving them for another college or a NFL job someday down the line) *•* UGA was always capable of this; it's practically gross incompotence for Georgia to have not been where they are now all this time *•* Of everyone on the Saban coaching tree, Kirby was always the one who was the most similar to Nick Saban in terms of their personalities and psyches in how they're wired and motivated

It can go either way, Milroe and Beck are the X Factors. UGA honestly needs to prove they can beat Bama. If they can’t, well guess they aren’t who we thought they were. The Dawgs need to play like they almost lost to Kentucky. Bc they did. My bet is on the UGA, go Dawgs!

The biggest concern I have, as a Georgia fan, are the Refs. If they decide to make themselves part of the game, like they have thru the history of this rivalry, Georgia doesn’t have a shot to win. Similar to the marching orders they were given for the LSU vs South Carolina game; “LSU wins, regardless of how bad it looks to people watching”. Think back to the Defensive Offsides on a blocked punt that would have sealed the game for Georgia, only for Bama to continue the drive and win. Not even close to offsides, he clearly started deep and timed it perfectly…period. Many more examples, but too traumatic to think about right now, lol.

Georgia isn’t like 1-9 in the past 10 matchups because of “the refs”.

You know the refs will help out bama, as always
@TheRoadDawgАй бұрын
@@goldiilockzz7556 I agree with that, but you have to admit they have influenced a few of those. In my honest opinion, Georgia and especially Kirby, has that little brother syndrome still. They almost have a mental block and expect to lose when they play. We play 3 of the top 5 ranked teams On the Road… we even play the 6th ranked team at home. There’s almost no chance we get thru those 4 games without at least 2 losses, maybe more. I hate it, but am realistic too (at least sometime, lol)
