Very nice! I almost went with the Christensen, but found a great deal on this Browning.

@@landonray9517 dosnt kick bad at all but ones the bullets get over the 212 it dose bump a little more I also found by adding a differnt recoil pad like a packmyr declaratory about 35-45$ it really helps I gave that rifle to my kid I run a custom built 300 prc now in a iota carbon stock defiance action and 24" proof research carbon rap sendaro lite contour 1-9twist with 225 eld match at 2800 fps with n570 powder.forgot to add it has a 4 port titanium muzzel break

If you pause it at impact on the doe shot, the hydrostatic shock that round produced must be massive inside of that deer. You can see her hide ripple like she was being punched by a fist the size of a dime, but hitting with the force of a nuclear missile. You can see a couple of different water puddles splashing as different pieces of the bullet hit the ground, all before she heard the crack of the rifle. Thanks for sharing. (I’m not crazy, I just like bullets and stuff) 🥸

Hi Cam, how long have you been shooting the 300 PRC? May I ask your pros and cons of this particular round?
@camswildlife55773 жыл бұрын
About 2 years. It's a stone cold killer! I shot an elk with it a couple weeks ago. Made a less than ideal shot, but the bull only made it about 30 feet and fell over. The internal damage was incredible. Shooting a 212 gr. Hordady bullet. Recoil is very managable. I'm just not a fan of small rounds (6.5 creedmoor) and prefer something that starts with a .3 when big game hunting.

@@camswildlife5577 Amen brother! That Hornady Company makes some killer shit. I totally agree with you as far as bigger 30 cal calibers. Appreciate the time and my son and I love the vids! Happy hunting and keep up the awesome content. MJ

Must be nice to have a high fence to hunt behind, because that’s the only way you’ll see that buck next year.

It's definitely free range and I definitely saw him again the next year. The place I hunt is awesome and managed properly. Do us all a favor and stop posting dumb comments.

Overkill? I don't know. A .22 cal. is too much for a deer. I remember something about a Redman or 2 taking them with a rock tied to the end of a stick. Lol I forget that alot, but the fact the 300prc is deadly at 1000 yards is pretty sweet. Man you've got some honey holes!
