Alabama Member Teddy Gentry Arrested

Alabama bassist and founding member, Teddy Gentry, was arrested in Cherokee County, Alabama on Monday, September 12th. Alabama is scheduled to tour in the coming weeks. It is unknown if the arrest will have an impact on their touring schedule

He was stopped for driving erratically and dangerously. That is when they discovered he was under the influence and they seized his drugs and paraphernalia. The booked him in on a Class A misdemeanor which is either up to 1 year in jail (which will never happen because he is a celebrity or a $6,000.00 fine. He was there maybe 30 minutes tops, you can see his arrest record on here. The police did their job. The way he was driving, he could have killed someone.

I think if we ever resorted to such a concept, our laws concerning our behavior crossing over and endangering another against their will should be very severe, extremely severe.
