Wonderful 1928 jazz business here! Sounds like the Capitolians to me. The hot New York group that played and broadcast at the Capitol Theatre. All musicians you suggest played in that band, plus Joe Tarto on tuba. They made a sound short on stage in 1928, clips can be seen at 2reeler of Miff Mole, Rube Bloom and Leo McConville doing bits! Also drummer Vic Berton and Jimmy Dorsey were employeed and play bits in the short. Thats what these famous musicians did between 78 recording gigs. They worked in the jazzy theatre orchestra at the big ornate Capitol!! Imagine the fun. Playing for flapper chorus lines, shows, silent movies, dance acts and all! Great to hear them on your hot Cameo record. Thankyou so much.
