On the quarterback position, it's very interesting. Tua was the first quarterback to be developed and perform at a high level at Alabama, but Tua doesn't go to Alabama unless the program started showing it was serious about both recruiting top quarterbacks and having a more pass-oriented offense. This actually started with recruiting Blake Barnett. Even though Barnett transferred, it showed that Alabama was going for the four and five star guys at the position. Then you have Kiffin who, despite his flaws and the controversy surrounding him, is a very talented offensive coach.

I got to see D. Kennedy in person when Theodore played McGill. Theodore had this one massive player that just looked different than all the others. But then, he returned a punt and ran right in front of me. Immediately looked him up, had no idea who he was until that moment. McGill just stayed away from him the rest of the game and ran away with the game, but my goodness he was the biggest and fastest out there.
